Your Artwork
You can submit any kind of art as an image, audio, or video file, along with a short description of your artwork and some information about yourself and your work. It does not have to feature an explicitly political motif but should always relate to the theme. By submitting your work, you agree to its publication on this website. No fee will be paid. If the artworks are exhibited physically, a separate agreement will be required. Everything is currently in progress. Your name and website will be published alongside your artwork. By submitting, you become an associate member of United Artists for America with the project MAKE AMERICA GRACE AGAIN.
Publication
The project will start now. All artworks will be published online at www.makeamericagraceagain.de. As far as possible, there will be a traveling art exhibition at various locations.
The Art Tour
We begin in Germany due to its historical responsibility for democracy and end in America, as it bears the responsibility of being the world’s first mondern democracy.

The term »Political Art« is incorrect. Art can be politically motivated and have political effects, but it is no more political than death itself. Art is what it is – simply art … sui generis. »MAKE AMERICA GRACE AGAIN« is politically motivated and aims to have a political impact, even though it is created outside the immediate context of the current events in Trumpist America. But perhaps that’s not such a bad thing, as it means that its creation is relatively free of direct negative influences.
We must counter the destruction of concepts, images, and democracy by despotic forces. Let us reclaim these concepts, images, and democracy. Artists shall not remain silent. Artists shall reveal that art has the power to change the world. Yes, we can!
Artists are invited to join an interdisciplinary collaboration on the art project »MAKE AMERICA GRACE AGAIN«. The goal is to challenge the Trumpist political system with artworks that outlast the Trump regime and leave a lasting imprint.

Der Begriff »Politische Kunst« ist falsch. Kunst kann politisch motiviert sein und politische Auswirkungen haben, aber sie ist nicht politischer als der Tod selbst. Kunst ist, was sie ist – einfach Kunst … sui generis. »MAKE AMERICA GRACE AGAIN« ist politisch motiviert und zielt auf eine politische Wirkung ab, auch wenn es außerhalb des unmittelbaren Kontextes der aktuellen Ereignisse im Trumpistischen Amerika entstanden ist. Aber vielleicht ist das gar nicht so schlecht, da seine Entstehung auf diese Weise einigermaßen frei von direkten negativen Einflüssen ist.
Wir müssen der Zerstörung von Konzepten, Bildern und der Demokratie durch despotische Kräfte entgegenwirken. Lasst uns diese Begriffe, Bilder und die Demokratie zurückfordern. Die Künstler dürfen nicht schweigen. Die Künstler sollen zeigen, dass die Kunst die Macht hat, die Welt zu verändern. Ja, wir können es!
Künstlerinnen und Künstler sind eingeladen, sich an einer interdisziplinären Zusammenarbeit im Rahmen des Kunstprojekts »MAKE AMERICA GRACE AGAIN« zu beteiligen. Ziel ist es, das Trumpsche politische System mit Kunstwerken herauszufordern, die das Trump-Regime überdauern und einen bleibenden Eindruck hinterlassen.
